**Job Description**:
Fitness Instructor

A Fitness Instructor provides training and instruction in fitness programs to individuals and groups. The fitness instructor guests in exercise routines and weight loss programs, and helps them to reach their goals.

What you will be doing:
Support the development and delivery of fitness programs

Assist members in reaching individual goals

Assist in maintaining and improving the purposes of the organization

Ensure the safety of clients during training sessions

Conduct an initial assessment of clients' body measurements

Monitor BMI on a regular basis

Motivate clients who have reached a plateau in weight loss

High school diploma or equivalent

Gym Instructor certification

Computer literate

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A professional appearance

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift.

Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.

Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.

Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
