The Senior Enterprise Services (ES) Service Architect is a service solution crafter for Enterprise Services clients in the Dimension Data business and assists with the identification of Enterprise Services sales. They operate in medium to high complexity service environments that include existing or custom services. The individual works across various technologies, Business Units and associated products, providing Enterprise Services solutions that meet Dimension Data and client objectives.

The primary objective of a Senior ES Service Architect is to position custom Enterprise Services within Dimension Data’s existing and prospective clients. They develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business needs and technology strategy and use this to define and build an Enterprise Service that aligns with the client’s business and technology objectives.**Working at NTT**
**Assist with bid process**

These employees demonstrate strong client consultative engagement skills with clients of a medium to high complexity base. This requires the ability to participate or lead in scope of work determination, services pricing models and analysis of RFP/RFI’s. The Senior ES Service Architect works closely with the Client Contract Manager throughout this process and will also assist in the decision to pursue or abort a deal. Senior ES Service Architects engage with clients to gather requirements and translate these into existing services within the Dimension Data offering or to build a specific value proposition for the client. They assist the Client Contract Manager with the negotiation of contracts and service level agreements.

**Develop service models**

They assist the sales organization by assisting with the development and selection of optimal services solutions to meet ongoing client needs that are in line with industry best practice and standards. The Senior ES Service Architect utilises existing service delivery models and undertakes major customisations to these and may at times be required to design customised models. They are required to drive the service models through a formal delivery and commercial approval process prior to submission to the client. The Senior ES Service Architect’s leads a team of ES Service Architects on all levels, focusing on the operationalisation of service and solution strategy across Business Units or across technologies and service domains within Dimension Data and clients. They have the ability to understand the service delivery model in line with business requirements and present on this across all levels of stakeholders within the client organization.

The individual will interact with large enterprises, relying on an excellent level of service and market understanding to provide solutions of a medium complexity. This individual is service; sales and business focused, and assists with the execution of and consults on the service configuration offered to Dimension Data clients. They develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business needs and technology strategy and use this to define and build an enterprise service that aligns with the client’s technology objectives.

**Cost drivers**

The Senior ES Service Architect assists with risk mitigation by developing and understanding the cost drivers within an operational service, including those that build up fixed and variable costs of an operational support team. They design Enterprise Services solutions for the client that will be commercially competitive whilst managing risk.

**Ensures sales**

The individual is expected to achieve service sales to meet specified financial targets. The Senior ES Service Architect supports the sales team by providing service solution proposals in line with specified client requirements to enable the understanding of the services offered by Dimension Data. These individuals work with the client manager or services sales to identify and scope an opportunity and contribute to deal strategy by engaging with clients to qualify their requirements. They work closely with the sales team participating in client consultative engagements and contributing to the development of Enterprise Services opportunities.
