**Position Goals**:
- The Sourcing and R&D Admin supports the administrative needs of the Sourcing and R&D/Product Development divisions. This role is essential in ensuring smooth data entry, reporting, supplier research, and ERP system maintenance, enabling the teams to focus on strategic initiatives in sourcing and product development..
**General requirement**:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in administrative roles, ideally within sourcing, product development, or similar fields. Knowledge of ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to conduct effective online research for supplier discovery.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and willingness to learn ERP maintenance and management.

**Administrative Support for R&D/Product Development**
- Assist in preparing and organizing reports related to product development progress, client requirements, and project updates.
- Assist Input data into relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for R&D activities.
**Administrative Support for Sourcing**
- Perform data entry and maintain records of supplier details, order histories, and sourcing project progress.
- Assist prepare regular reports and summaries for sourcing activities to facilitate team planning and decision-making.
**Supplier Research and Information Gathering**
- Research potential new suppliers in the furniture and homeware sectors, focusing on relevant platforms such as social media, industry websites, and online directories.
- Collect and organize information on new suppliers, including company profiles, product offerings, and contact information, to support the sourcing team’s evaluation process.
**ERP System Maintenance and Management**
- Understand and assist with the ERP system’s setup and operation, ensuring it meets the administrative needs of the Sourcing and R&D divisions.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on the ERP system to ensure smooth data management and accessibility for team members.
- Collaborate with the IT or ERP support team to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues that may arise.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with the Sourcing Specialist and Product Development/R&D team members to streamline workflows and ensure consistent information flow.
