We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our client's financial operations, drive process automation, and ensure robust internal controls. This role is instrumental in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial strategies to support organizational growth and sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a vision for leveraging technology to streamline financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
    • Lead financial planning, including annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and resource allocation.
  2. Automation & Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement technology-driven solutions to automate financial processes, such as reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
    • Drive efficiency in financial operations through the integration of financial software and tools.
    • Lead the digital transformation of the finance function, ensuring seamless data management and reporting.
  3. Budgeting & Financial Management
    • Oversee the preparation and execution of the annual budget and monitor variances.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
    • Manage the company's financial health by optimizing cash flow, controlling expenditures, and overseeing investments.
  4. Internal Controls & Compliance
    • Establish, monitor, and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Develop and enforce policies to mitigate financial risks and maintain financial integrity.
    • Serve as the primary liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
    • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
    • Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
    • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  2. Technical Skills
    • Expertise in financial management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
    • Strong understanding of automation technologies and process improvement methodologies.
    • Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
  3. Soft Skills
    • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and leading teams.
    • High level of integrity, ethical standards, and attention to detail.
