Description
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports in compliance with local and international standards.
- Manage and coordinate tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities to optimise tax efficiency and minimise liabilities.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure financial processes and controls are robust and adhere to company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support financial and tax-related decision-making.
- Monitor and implement changes in accounting regulations and tax laws, ensuring timely updates to practices and procedures.
- Prepare and present financial and tax reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and tax roles, with a strong background in financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Previous experience working in a multinational company or within an audit firm is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of managing financial reporting processes and tax strategies.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
