**About Our Client**:
Global Private Equity firm looking to set up in Indonesia

Responsible for overseeing and executing investment strategies, managing portfolio companies, and driving value creation.

Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: The VP participates in the sourcing of potential investment opportunities, conducts due diligence, financial analysis, and valuation of target companies. They assess the investment potential, market trends, risks, and growth prospects.

Investment Execution: plays a key role in structuring and negotiating investment deals. Collaborates with the deal team, investment bankers, lawyers, and other professionals to execute transactions, including leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, and recapitalizations.

Portfolio Management: oversees a portfolio of investments and works closely with the portfolio company's management team to drive operational improvements, growth initiatives, and strategic decision-making. They provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the management teams, monitor financial performance, and help implement value creation strategies.

Fundraising and Investor Relations: participate in fundraising activities, including preparing marketing materials, presenting investment opportunities to potential limited partners (LPs), and maintaining relationships with existing investors. They address LP inquiries, provide performance updates, and assist with reporting requirements.

Industry Research and Analysis: Staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes is crucial. Conduct market research, monitor industry developments, and evaluate potential investment sectors or geographies for growth opportunities.

Team Management and Leadership: build a local team of associates and analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and overseeing their work. Contribute to team building, talent development, and ensure effective collaboration within the firm.

**The Successful Applicant**:
Strong academic background, typically with an MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

Extensive experience in private equity, investment banking, or related fields, typically ranging from 6 to 10+ years.

Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.

Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to identify value creation opportunities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Proven track record of successful investment transactions and value creation.

In-depth knowledge of industries, markets, and investment trends.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Fluent written and spoken English

Indonesian national

Well networked within the local PE / VC community
