We are partnering with a fast-growing consumer retail F&B group in Indonesia, operating 100+ stores nationwide with strong brand equity, loyal customers, and solid financial backing. The business is entering a major scale-up phase, focusing on nationwide growth, operational excellence, customer experience, and increased store profitability. 

Supported by top-tier private equity investors, the company is committed to strengthening internal capabilities, expanding its store network rapidly, and building world-class retail operations. 

Due to this growth trajectory, we are seeking an experienced VP / Head of Operations to lead the end-to-end operational portfolio across the entire retail network. 

About the Role

This is a critical senior leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for leading nationwide operations and driving store performance, scalability, and customer satisfaction. 

The role will oversee multi-brand retail outlets, operational strategy, P&L ownership, SOP implementation, and new store expansion. 

The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, financially literate, and strong in execution, with a proven track record managing large-scale multi-unit retail or QSR/F&B operations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operational performance across all store locations nationwide.
  • Drive store-level profitability with full P&L responsibility and strong commercial decision-making.
  • Set operational standards, SOPs, KPIs, and quality control frameworks.
  • Ensure superior customer experience and service consistency across every outlet.
  • Lead rapid new store expansion, including pre-opening planning and launch execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement, digital enablement, and productivity optimization.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement cost and labor optimization strategies.
  • Build and develop high-performing operations teams (Area/Regional/Store Managers).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Marketing, R&D, HR, Finance).
  • Strengthen culture, coaching, training, and leadership development across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in QSR, retail F&B, or multi-unit consumer retail operations.
  • Strong track record leading large-scale store networks (100+ outlets preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial performance improvement.
  • Proven success in rapid store roll-outs, turnaround, or business scaling.
  • Hands-on leadership style, comfortable being on the ground, not only strategic.
  • Strong capability in workforce planning, training, and development.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with ability to drive decisions using numbers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, transformation, or PE-backed environment is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
