About the role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance Controller to join our dynamic team at PT Kamadjaja Logistics'. In this full-time, office-based role in our Jakarta Selatan office, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a strategic role in driving the financial success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing effective financial strategies and policies to support the overall business objectives
  2. Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
  3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal control procedures
  4. Collaborating with the broader leadership team to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
  5. Leading and developing a team of finance professionals to deliver high-quality financial services
  6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  7. Liaising with external auditors and other financial stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and facilitate smooth operations

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance or controller role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry
  3. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective financial strategies and policies
  4. Excellent financial management and reporting skills, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  5. Proficiency in using financial management software and data analysis tools
  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement
  8. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team of finance professionals
