Direct Procurement Executive

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliable lead times, and optimal pricing.
- Assist in drafting, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts to secure the best terms while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Ensure all suppliers adhere to regulatory standards, company policies, and environmental and ethical guidelines.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to align procurement activities with inventory needs and production schedules.
- Support initiatives to reduce procurement costs and improve productivity, focusing on maximizing value and minimizing waste.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, raw material prices, and potential supply chain risks.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, track key metrics, and generate reports to assist in strategic decision-making.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, forecast needs, and assess supplier performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
- Basic negotiation skills with a willingness to learn and develop to ensure beneficial terms and cost savings.
- High attention to detail, particularly in managing contracts, purchase orders, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and environmental standards within procurement.
- Proficient in SAP, Coupa, Microsoft Office Suite and, ideally, experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
