Senior Project Engineer

The job role of a Project Engineer may involve the following duties.
- Coordinating with project managers to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Developing project strategies, undertaking project tasks as required.
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings, Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings and ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Identifying activities and potential risks or issues that could impact the success of a project and taking steps to mitigate these concerns
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Generate regular reports on the status of the project schedule, highlighting any areas of concern
- About You:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field, master’s degree in Engineering and project management will be a plus

Experience
- Experience working on large scale Infrastructure projects

Skills & Training
- Hold professional certified
- Expertise with scheduling software, including Microsoft Project, and Oracle Primavera
- Strong understanding of the basic project management process and knowledge area
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- Ability to create and maintain detailed project schedules (Master schedule, L1 and L2 Schedule)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and able to multitask effectively
- Leadership and Good team working skills
- Observation and recording skills

- Good standard of written English and communication

Job Profile
- Senior Project Engineer will be in charge of assisting Project Manager in organizing ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedule, organizing and participating in stakeholders’ meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
The Project Engineer will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft office and project management tools or software such as Ms Project or Primavera, and have exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or master’s degree will be advantaged and at least 15 year of relevant experience is required for consideration.
The project Engineer is responsible for planning and coordinating the timing of projects from beginning to end, ensure all parties involved in a project are working together toward a common goal and deadlines.
