**Responsibility**
- Managing the performance and engineering aspects of Data Center Operations; ensuring adherence to contracted customers’ SLA and managing customer satisfaction, responsible for ensuring maintenance of site-critical facility infrastructure are planned and executed and develop deep knowledge of the design intent and contingency plan to ensure critical facility readiness during incident.
- Oversee and supervise data center project build to ensure effective project execution strategy in alignment with targeted financial budgets, completion on targeted planned time with top notch quality deliverables.
- Collaborate to develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures related to operational and projects to improve overall business efficiencies and profitability
- Evaluate effectiveness of the operational process and procedures and make recommendations for improvements by maximizing quality and operational efficiency through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaborations
- Effectively drive change initiatives targeted at decreasing operating expense and increasing operational efficiencies by strategizing the maintenance plan/schedule, innovating at reducing the PUE and identifying operational pain point to improve business practices
- Forecast major facility replacement requirements and prepare budget recommendations for capital and operating budgets to maintain facilities readiness and sustainable operations conditions
- Deliver key budgetary performance goals and long-term operational plans that maintain the operational abilities for short to long term performance.
- Creates an environment that promotes high performance and positive morale by fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the department
- Liaison with board of management in assisting with operational strategic plans to bring benefits to the company and in alignment to the standard business practices
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Science is required.
- At least 7+ years experience in operational management across industries (data center industries is preferred)
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills and can manage changing priorities, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing business environment. In addition, strong project management skills and ability to manage multi-disciplinary vendor is a must
- Unyielding determinations to adapt with agile, creative and innovative solutions to business challenges with strong analytical skills
- Sturdy interpersonal skill with the ability to communicate (written and verbal) with all levels of board of management and employees across inter-departmental
- Good understanding of data center industry knowledge is beneficial
