Product Manager

**About the Role**

If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team and an opportunity to dive deep into projects surrounding product development, look no further. As our Product Manager for Insurance, you’ll take the wheel in building Insurance products for users across the GoTo ecosystem. Along with overseeing product development processes that are used by the team, you will be in charge of delivering scoped features with guidance from Senior Product Managers. Working closely with the engineering and design team, you’ll shape the nature of our insurance products to ensure our customers are able to meet their short-term and long-term financial needs responsibly.

**What You Will Do**:

- Own personal OKRs and understand and contribute to stream-level strategy & OKRs.
- Identify cross-product and cross-functional strategic opportunities to enhance the platform experience for our customers.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the value of product outcomes vs. outputs.
- Write user stories for individual feature improvements that are well-defined and tested.
- Deliver simple and non-critical individual features with the guidance of a more senior Product Manager.
- Oversee the product development processes that are used by the team.
- Address quality issues when prompted, and follow best practices to maintain quality with support.
- Use basic analytics to understand product and customers

**What You Will Need**:

- At least 4 years of product management experience.
- Ability to work effectively on a 1 on 1 basis with engineering, design, research team members following current best practices.
- Ability to work directly with a small group of stakeholders for their feature(s) with support from a manager/mentorAn analytical and data-driven mindset; a love for digging into data to understand what’s happening and to define & measure success on every project.
- Deep empathy and interest in keeping your customers point of view in the forefront, constantly bringing questions back to what will serve them best.
- Fluent in English with strong interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with our international teams.
