Pluang is seeking a strategic and proactive **Senior Public Policy & Government Relations Associate** to join our External Affairs team. This role is key in shaping and influencing policy developments that affect Pluang’s business, building strong relationships with regulators and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance and alignment with government expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Policy Analysis & Advocacy**Monitor, analyze, and interpret relevant regulations, legislative trends, and policy developments affecting fintech, investment, and digital finance industries.-
- Develop policy positions and advocacy materials to communicate Pluang’s views to policymakers and industry partners.- **Stakeholder & Government Engagement**Build and maintain strong relationships with government institutions, regulators (OJK, Bappebti, BI), trade associations, and industry stakeholders.-
- Represent Pluang in policy discussions, working groups, public consultations, and industry events.- **Strategic Communication**Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment on policy impacts and communication strategies.-
- Draft position papers, briefing notes, reports, and policy-related internal communications.- **Risk & Compliance Support**Identify potential regulatory risks and support internal teams in interpreting and complying with new or updated regulations.-
- Act as an internal consultant on government-related matters to support business and product decisions.- **Coalition Building**Engage with industry associations and coalitions to shape the broader fintech regulatory environment in Indonesia.- Advocate for balanced and innovation-friendly policies through collaborative partnerships.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.- 5+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, or a similar role—preferably in fintech, financial services, or with a government body.- Deep understanding of the Indonesian regulatory environment and government processes.- Strong network within relevant ministries, government agencies (OJK, Bappebti, BI, Kominfo), and trade associations.- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.- Proven ability to think strategically and translate regulatory issues into business insights.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and political acumen.
