Ect (Early Career Trainee) - Product Engineer

**Job Description Summary**: The Early Career Training is a12 months program and it is an investment in young talents where GE Vernova trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE Vernova business. The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures.

Role purposes:
Assist in executing daily repair engineering tasks by supporting workflow optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, analyzing data to identify improvement areas, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of engineering processes.

**General responsibility**
- Understand overall gas power and PT Gents business process, basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work based on SQDCP bases. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
- Identify, propose & execute spesific project for final report

**Repair Job Scope Management & Job execution**
- Assess and validate repair scopes from Contractual Service Agreements (CSA) and Transactional (TX) customers to ensure alignment with technical requirements.
- Prepare and submit repair scope documents, technical justifications, and cost impact assessments for formal engineering review & approval.
- Address engineering feedback, propose alternatives if required, and ensure final approval before proceeding with repairs.
- Communicate any deviations from standard repair processes and collaborate to develop engineering-approved solutions.
- Prepare and submit detailed repair condition reports and final repair reports, documenting inspection findings, repair processes, deviations, and outcomes to ensure transparency, compliance with technical standards, and customer satisfaction.

**Productivity & Continuous Improvement**

'- Implement lean manufacturing concept and mindset, also continuous improvement in daily operation
- Participate in related kaizen event
- Demonstrate problem solving within internal team and cross function team
- Maintain detailed records of expenditures, materials, and labour time to identify cost drivers and inefficiencies.
- Implement tracking systems and to automate cost and labor hour monitoring.
- Identify areas for process improvement to enhance process cost efficiency
- Conduct periodic reviews of cost trends and labor utilization reports to make data-driven decisions.

**Qualifications / Minimum requirement**:
Fresh graduates up to 1 year of experience.
- BS Engineering - Mechanical, material metallurgy or related engineering background preferred
- Active listener with good communication skills in English.
- Proactive with high level of integrity.
- Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction.
- A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams.
- Familiar with ASME Y14.5 Standard (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software for technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret engineering data, test results, and quality reports for documentation.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and structured technical documents.
- Strong communication & organizational skill
