Job Summary- Assist the local team in ensuring control and processing of transactions associated with purchasing and selling securities to support the inhouse portfolio management.- Job Qualifications- Required:

- Bachelors Degree and 35 or more years of experience in Alternative Investments, Asset Management or Operations Financial Services area
- AND- Knowledge of alternative investments
- Experience in Operational process and procedure efficiency
- Experience in financial reporting reconciliation
- Experience in Alternative Asset reporting capabilities
- Experience with documenting workflows and business processes

Preferred:

- Bachelors Degree with major in Economics, Engineering, Business Admin or Accounting- Experience and knowledge of ICFR/SOX controls
- Knowledge of private equity/hedge fund/real estate asset classes
- Operational experience in asset management of multi-property portfolios including; management, leasing, budgeting, variance analysis, valuation DCF analysis
- Knowledge of code-based language (e.g., Python, C++, HTML, CSS)
- Applications Experience-Dynamo, Burgiss, Yardi, Any alternative asset platform
- Project management experience
- Data Analysis and knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Python and R is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office Excel, VBA, Visio, PowerPoint and Project skills
- Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities- Assist in investment administration, performance collection, aggregation, and reporting processes for alternative investments across relevant securities.- Help in the data management and production of portfolio performance reports to senior management and relevant investing entities, and develop new insights into portfolio performance by analysing the database and providing varying views of the portfolio.
- Support in executing transactions, settlements, and valuations and monitoring portfolio and structured assets valuations.
- Assist in managing the Investment Book and Asset & Liability Management for local regulatory requirements.
- Assist in providing investment information to management, investment teams, and Zurich counterparties as needed.
- Produce accurate and timely investment reports, ad-hoc analysis of investment opportunities and potential new portfolio mandates, and fixed income and equity impairment process.
- Support in managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
