The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to be involved in day to day operations of our Luxury Restaurant, ensuring that all standard procedures, rules and regulations, the quality of service and sequence of service are highly implemented and emphasized by the colleagues. S/he facilitates all guest needs and expectations in the outlets by providing exceptional service. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the entire operation in the absence of the Manager. S/he will support any activities of the management. operating results.

Ensures guests are well looked after, from the moment they arrive to the time they leave

Enquires whether guests are satisfied throughout the meal.

Offers attentive service to guests, adapting to any constraint

Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty

Promotes the F&B offer under his/her responsibility

With restaurant manager organizes the work for the team, including the need to multi-skill in employees' job requirements

Ensures information is properly passed on to the team (briefings and debriefings with the kitchen staff etc)

Ensures the point of sale is prepared to a high standard

Takes the global level of activity into account when managing the flow of guests, placement at tables and reservations

Assists the Restaurant Manager to check and evaluate the quality and speed of waiter service

Ensures the equipment used remains in good condition
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

Must be a highly organized person with strong planning skills.

Analytical skills, strength as a developer and a leader of others are essential.

International experience an asset

Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
