Sanitation Field Coordinator

**Key Job Descriptions**:

- Assist Local Engineers in completing standard tender and contracting documents for use by the local government in tendering and construction.
- Guide the Local Engineers, the Local Government or Operators in preparing the documents required for construction implementation activities.
- Collaborate with the Survey Team to provide assistance to Local Government
- Guide and monitor Local Engineers performance in carrying out their duties, to ensure expected standards and practices are upheld and implemented.
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, other consultants and local government personnel to ensure timely decisions and actions to support the project objectives.
- Discuss and mentor local government on construction and project management approaches and methods to guide the works, considering the physical, institutional, and social environment of the LG and communities.
- Report on key project outputs and metrics during the construction stage, focussing on planned activities and subsequent achievements, risk management, budget requirements and utilisation, quality assurance and administrative field inspections with the Survey Team, and scheduling verification activities in the field

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications with a major in Civil/Environmental/Water/Wastewater Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in sanitation development program.
- Must have good knowledge of Indonesia’s technical standard and output-based program, its challenges, and opportunities
- Have experience in technical design and construction of SPALDT.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including regional government and local governments.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (desirable).
