**JOB PURPOSE** JVM is hiring a Healthcare Quality Improvement Professional to perform a full range of quality improvement/quality assurance services on site, using government furnished facilities, equipment and supplies to a variety of patients. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES** - Participate in the Health Services Quality Improvement Program. - Prepare and submit appropriate documentation as specified in applicable regulations. - Work with a team on the composition of technical directives to aid in quality improvement initiatives. - Provide instruction to clinic staff and/or patients on an ad hoc basis. - Work directly with the RN Field Technical Manager and Quality Improvement Board members. **QUALIFICATIONS** The provider of this QI/QA services shall possess and maintain current licensure for the duration of this agreement: - A diploma, certificate or degree in health care management, quality improvement/quality assurance, nursing or other related discipline. - Three (3) years of recent experience in healthcare quality improvement programs including outcome reporting required. - Military health care quality improvement/quality assurance experience. - Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding quality programs including quality improvement and process improvement in a health care setting as evidenced by experience. - "No adverse information on file" with the National Practitioners Data Band (NPDB). - Maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) for the Health Care Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), or the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). - If licensed, a current unrestricted active license to practice from one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U. S. Virgin Islands. **OTHER REQUIREMENTS**: - Must pass criminal background check.
