Mechanical Piping Engineer

We are looking for the mechanical piping engineer to support design team in producing design suit with relevant code, standard and requirement.

**What will you do**:

- Provision of deliverables products of Design Document including presentation materials for instance Piping Technical Assessment Report, Piping Basis of design Report, Piping calculations, Piping Analysis and Modeling for instance hoop stress, pipe stress for static and dynamic analysis, Pressure vessel, including transient/surge analysis using AutopPIPE - Bentley latest version, providing Pipe Stress Analisis Report, piping clash issue clearance report, for various industrial facilities and various building occupancy in compliance with the relevant piping engineering code and piping engineering standards
- Provision of deliverables products of Design Document including General arrangement drawing, Equipment drawing, tank and pressure vessel drawing, piping arrangement drawing, pipe racking arrangement, Piping Plot Plan drawing, Isometric drawings, section piping, pipe support and pipe shoe design, (drafting will be supported by 3D modeling / drafting team), valve list, piping list, flange list, and piping and material selection, piping technical specifications, Valve and accessories Datasheet, and cost estimates related to Process Piping and Utility Piping for various industrial facilities and various building occupancy in compliance with the relevant engineering code and engineering standards.
- To check alignment drawing and document between URS, PFD, P&ID, Technical Specification and datasheet equipment and tanks with Equipment and Piping Layout drawings
- To coordinate with piping designer and modeler for any found piping & equipment clashes issues in the 3D modeling, and follow and coordination up to other discipline as necessary
- Perform construction administration duties, such as shop drawing review, RFI response, periodic construction site inspection, and respond to client questions.
- Working collaboration with other discipline design teams (ACS, Process, Automation and Electrical-Electronic) in producing Piping design for process piping, utility piping and building service piping in the form of drawings, studies and reports
- Conduct planning and technical feasibility study and conduct gap assessment and or site check for all piping on the brown field facilities on various indutrial filed
- Work within a project team environment and possess good communication, presentation and client interface skills
- Piping Design is refering to ASME 31.3, B31.9, and other relevant Code and Standard (ASME, ASTM, ISO, DIN)
- Coordination with internal and external discipline team (to other discipline team) and Client face to face meeting
- Development of modelers: task setting and planning, follow-up, progress assessment, develop technical knowledge to modelers and Data management
- Coordination with internal and external discipline team (to other discipline team) and Client face meeting

**What you bring**:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Mathematics/ Physics from reputable University
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Consulting Engineering firm or EPC firm for industrial field (Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Fragrance, Oleo Chemical, Chemical Plant, Feed mill, poultry plant, oil and gas), fuel-carbon liquid bulking storages, warehouses and commercial building
- Competent in reading / understanding technical drawings (architectural, structural, electrical & mechanical, PFD, P&ID)
- Fluent in Spoken and Written English Language
- Fully understand and plenty knowledge of hydraulic engineering and heat transfer engineering
- Microsoft Excel expert /VBA (Data Analysis, Visualization and Spreadsheet Calculations) using Pivot Tables, Solver, Conditional Formatting, Advanced Functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF etc.) Filters/Slicers
- Able to use various technical analysis software is advantageous (Aspen Plus/Hysys, Caesar II, Fire Hydraulic Calculation, Pipe Flow, etc.), AutoPIPE V12 - Bentley is mandatory
- Able to use various drafting software is advantageous (AutoCAD / BIM / Revit / Plant 3D / AutoPLANT / etc.)
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Understand and plenty knowledge of various international Engineering standard and code, in example ASME, ASTM, API, AWWA, ISO, EN
