Mechanical Piping Engineer required to join Beca’s growing Indonesia Industrial team. Must be sufficiently experienced with piping design, have an understanding of piping materials and be able to conduct piping system design, calculations and analysis.

To be part of our team we are looking for a Mechanical Piping Engineer to join our Jakarta based Industrial team of diverse and passionate engineers, designers and project managers. You will be joining our piping team working closely with our teams located in Australia and new Zealand to deliver piping engineering and design activities, liaising with other disciplines to facilitate a coordinated design.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform conceptual and detailed piping designs.
- Prepare piping deliverables, piping design basis, piping specifications, datasheets, calculations, and pipe stress analysis.
- Working closely with other engineers and 3D designers.
- Coordinating work sharing activities with Beca teams in based in Australia & New Zealand.
- Interface with other disciplines (Mechanical, Process, Electrical & Instrumentation, CSA etc.), project / design management teams, and the client.
- Proficient with codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA etc.
- Good understanding of process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping & instrument diagrams (P&IDs), piping system design, material handling methods, equipment, functional & installation specifications, as well as instrumentation.

**Requirements**:

- Holding Bachelor (S1) Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or other engineering degree with prior relevant work experiences.
- Having minimum 5-10 years of experience in piping engineering as piping engineer, consultant or EPC.
- Knowledge of Code and Standards, such as ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA, DIN, etc. that relates to process & mechanical engineering.
- Hands on experience in AutoPipe software.
- Good level of English skills for both written and conversation, able to communicate efficiently with fluent English-speaking teams.
- Proficient in MS suite of Apps - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Able to work in a team as team player with positive attitude.
- Strong English report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage and/or Mining & Metals industries.
- Jakarta based role with possibility of site visits.
