**Role Description**

As a Senior Structural Engineer, his primary responsibility is to ensure the structural integrity of a building or infrastructure. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the structural discipline. Impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the team and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies. Senior Structural Engineer solves complex problems and uses his discipline-specific knowledge to improve products or services.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and complete report, design, and drawing (with the ability to lead basic design and check)
- Make calculations about design of structures (with the ability to lead basic design and check)
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval
- Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure
- Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers
- Administer contracts and manage projects
- Follow construction safety guidelines
- Take off and manage Bill of Quantity for materials
- Take charge of control design schedule / progress / manpower within the responsible scope of work.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- English spoken fluently
- Keen attention to detail and unwavering precision in drafting
- Minimum 5 years of experience as structure engineer
- Proficient computer skills: Auto Cad, Sketchup 2D and 3D, and basic administration programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
