**Role Description**

The Civil Engineering Construction Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities at the work site, ensuring that structural work is completed on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards as outlined in the structural drawings. This role requires strict adherence to all regulations and demands effective management of diverse weather conditions. Strong team management and decision-making skills are essential for maintaining a safe, productive environment. Additionally, the Foreman fosters positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate seamless project progression and is required to wear safety equipment at all times on-site.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate amongst various stakeholders at worksite to ensure work alignment.
- Enforce all safety regulations on site to ensure works are performed safely.
- Inspect structure construction works to ensure compliance with requirements and regulations.
- Inspect structure raw materials that are delivered on site to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Procure construction materials at the right time to ensure work is not hampered by materials shortage.
- Supervise and control workmen to ensure that work is performed safely and on time.
- Work hand in hand with the management of Karma Development and structure consultant.
- Generate meticulous and comprehensive structure drawings that adhere to industry standards and project prerequisites
- Review and enhance structure drawings as required, accommodating design iterations and refinements.
- Analyse and reply to all RFI addressed by the main contractor
- Uphold impeccable documentation practices, ensuring a well-organized repository of CAD files
- Collaborate closely with project teams and external contractors to ensure the seamless execution of projects
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in CAD software
- Ensure that the structure products and supplies are high quality
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- English spoken fluently
- Keen attention to detail and unwavering precision in drafting
- Minimum 5 years of experience as structure engineer
- Proficient computer skills: Auto Cad, Sketchup 2D and 3D, and basic administration programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
- Goal-oriented, organized team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
