Job Responsibilities

Responsible for operating, controlling and monitoring power plant operations (Boiler, turbine, and other Main Equipment) in order to achieve targets and run normally, reliably, continuously, safely, and environmentally friendly, and prioritize occupational safety and health to avoid things that are harmful to equipment or humans.
- Perform initial and periodic checks and record operating parameters in the Boiler - Turbine area to ensure the power plant is operating normally.
- Perform follow-up actions according to the contents of the Field Operator Daily Report / Log Sheet and superior orders to support the smooth operation of the PLTU.
- Identify data comparison between parameters in the field with parameter indications in the HMI DCS for boiler and steam turbine equipment and report any abnormalities and damage to plant equipment to the Sr DCS operator, DCS Operator or Shift Supervisor to ensure that further action is carried out quickly and in a timely manner.
- Make adjustments that are minor repairs such as tightening loose manhole bolts, tightening loose hoses both in boiler and steam turbine equipment without having to involve mechanical so that operations are not disrupted.
- Provide assistance to authorized persons to isolate (LOTO procedure) and normalize the power plant area to support the smooth operation of the PLTU.
- Monitor and operate boiler equipment according to procedures, such as burners, and other equipment in boiler unit 1 and unit 2 in the field, as well as supporting equipment for steam turbine unit-1 and unit-2 to support the smooth operation of the PLTU.
- Communicate with Senior DCS Operator and DCS Operator to find out the operational condition of the Boiler and steam turbine in order to prepare the necessary work plan.
- Perform preparations ordered by Senior DCS Operator, DCS Operator and shift supervisor before operating a type of equipment both in the boiler and steam turbine in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Fill in, tidy up, and store loghseet and logbook in a predetermined place and maintain the cleanliness of the factory area and implement the 5R program to support the smooth operation of the PLTU.
- Carry out evacuation and first aid in the event of an emergency to avoid casualties and losses to company assets.

Job Requirements
- Minimum Senior High School graduate majoring in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in related position in Coal Fired Power Plant
- Fresh graduates with Diploma Degree majoring in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical Engineering with GPA min. 3.00 are welcome to apply
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Have knowledge about boiler, turbine, balance, coal handling, and water treatment of Plant Operator.
- Willing to be located at Tanjung - Tabalong, South Kalimantan
