**What will you do**:
The role of Technical Assistant - Geotechnical Engineer is reporting to the Team Leader and supports the Site Engineer. The Technical Assistant - Geotechnical Engineer ensures that the design and built contract works are consistent with the Employers Requirements and specifications. His/her duties and responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

- Carries out the role of a Delegated Representative, operating within the role of the Engineer / Consultant for Design & Build construction contracts
- Review of all Contractor’s Documents related to Geotechnical design works, soil investigation, ground improvements, consolidation, and monitoring equipment’s.
- Manage the implementation of the Contractor’s systems of works, including quality, safety, design, method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, etc.
- Assist site engineers in review / obtaining material samples and witnessing testing of the works.
- Assist / supervise geotechnical investigations alongside the Contractor to verify site conditions, review deliverables and quality check.
- Cover other discipline when working on shifts, therefore should be knowledgeable on reclamation and port construction works.
- Prepare reports and assessments of all geotechnical related works, inspections and documents reviewed.
- Inputs on daily diary, weekly and monthly construction management reports.
- Identify and report non-conformances to the design, workmanship, and execution of the works.
- Observed non-conformances, safety issues and any other relevant activities which may later be related to future claims.
- Supports the Team Leader and Site Engineer during meetings when necessary.
- Promotes an inclusive and positive environment for the team
- Promotes and uses a Digital Way of Working in execution of tasks
- Promotes and complies with the Company integrity policy
- Complies with the Company regulations

**Where you will work**:
You will work based in Kalibaru Project, North Jakarta, Indonesia.

**What you bring**:

- Must be a License or certified Civil/Geotechnical Engineer
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related course is an advantage
- Experience in FIDIC Conditions of Contract is an advantage
- Minimum of 10 years work experience for bachelor’s degree or
- Minimum of 5 years work experience for master’s degree
- Well versed on modern geotechnical software’s ideally
- Digital savvy is an advantage
- Efficient on MS Office suit including Teams and SharePoint
- A Team player
