Badung, Indonesia High and Low Headhunters Full time

One of our client’s, a premium developer and construction company in Bali, is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum three years working as a Quantity Surveyor or in a related role, preferably in Bali, with a strong understanding of local construction practices.
- Extensive network of local suppliers with demonstrated expertise in negotiating favourable terms and contracts.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation processes.
- Proficiency in preparing, analysing, and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for diverse projects.
- Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and manage tasks efficiently within tight deadlines.
- Meticulous approach to evaluating costs, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and monitoring expenditures.
- Skilled in identifying cost-saving opportunities and resolving procurement or project-related issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and project teams.
- Familiarity with construction management and cost-estimation software, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and procurement regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining transparency and professionalism in all dealings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee payments to contractors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed terms.
- Maintain records of all transactions for audit and reporting purposes.
- Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
- Analyse and track project costs to ensure they remain within budget.
- Identify, negotiate, and maintain relationships with local suppliers.
- Ensure the timely procurement and delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Oversee the reception and inspection of materials on-site to verify quality and quantity.
- Manage inventory, storage, and material allocation for projects.
- Work closely with the project manager and site teams to align material needs with project schedules.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to address any discrepancies or delays.
- Conduct regular quality checks on materials and supplies to ensure they meet project standards.
- Address and resolve any issues related to material defects or shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, inventory, and costs.
- Provide detailed reports on material usage, costs, and supplier performance.
