Cavo Bar & Bistro is a stylish Italian dining destination in Uluwatu, offering authentic Italian cuisine with a modern bistro concept. As a pre-opening restaurant, Cavo is building a strong kitchen team focused on quality, consistency, and an excellent dining experience.

What You Will Contribute:

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will report directly to the Sous Chef and play an important role in supporting daily kitchen operations. You will be responsible for ensuring food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet established standards while maintaining efficiency, hygiene, and consistency in line with the Italian bistro concept.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Sous Chef.
• Ensure mise en place is completed accurately and on time for daily operations.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Support daily kitchen operations and service under the direction of the Sous Chef.
• Follow kitchen SOPs, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation standards are consistently applied.
• Assist in food cost control by minimizing waste and following portion standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Assist with inventory checking and proper storage of ingredients.
• Support menu tastings, special events, and pre-opening preparations.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service flow.

Who We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as Demi Chef de Partie or Senior Commis.
• Basic to strong knowledge of Italian cuisine or Western kitchen operations.
• Experience in pre-opening restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and pre-opening team.
• Disciplined, eager to learn, and team-oriented.
• Good communication skills and positive work attitude.
