Senior Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Operations team at PT Marsh. This role will be based in Jakarta. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role is responsible for managing, negotiating, and resolving major and complex insurance claims efficiently and strategically. You will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with clients, insurers, and various stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes while protecting the firm's reputation.

We will count on you to:

• Lead end-to-end handling of large and complex claims across Property, Energy, CAR/EAR, Marine, Liability, Cyber, Business Interruption, and more.
• Review policy coverage, warranties, endorsements, and exclusions to determine claim strategy.
• Coordinate and guide loss adjusters, forensic accountants, engineers, recovery specialists, surveyors, and legal advisors.
• Act as primary claims advisor for key corporate accounts, providing strategic guidance and leading client meetings and negotiations.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers, reinsurers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable outcomes.
• Ensure all claims processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Insurance, Risk Management, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years' experience handling large or complex claims in brokerage, insurance, adjusting, or legal roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of property, industrial, energy, construction, or liability insurance.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to manage multiple large cases independently and work effectively under pressure.

• Professional insurance qualifications such as AACI, ANZIIF, CII, AAAIK/AAIK, or equivalent.
• Experience with multinational insurance programs, reinsurance, or complex industrial sectors.
• Prior experience in a top broker, loss adjuster firm, or insurer major loss team.
