Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and building data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Composer.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT design principles, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Hands-on experience with data orchestration and workflow automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to handle strategic customer requirements effectively.
  • GCP Data Engineer certification or equivalent cloud certification is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Define and implement ETL/ELT strategies to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable data flow between systems.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and optimize data solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data processes for performance and reliability.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and security compliance across all GCP data environments.
  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and best practices to support ongoing data initiatives.
