What you'll be doing

  • Translate documents from Bahasa to Mandarin and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Facilitate clear and efficient communication between management, local teams, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide real-time translation support during meetings and field activities, ensuring all parties understand key points.
  • Manage the Director's calendar and schedule, arranging meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
  • Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence
  • Act as the main point of contact for other expatriats from China regarding relocation, local adaptation, and Company Procedures.
  • Provide discreet and professional personal support to the Director as required
  • Support onboarding, cultural integration, and housing arrangements for expatriates as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR, Sales, Purchasing, and Finance Teams to ensure smooth expatriate support including accurate records of Expat status, Address, KITAS, and others administrative matters.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Language or a related field.
  • Have a HSK - 5 Certification is a strong plus.
  • At least 2 years experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-level administrative role
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge language and cultural gaps effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and discreet manner
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make decisions independently
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other administrative software
