Responsibilities
About the Team:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and scaling the GRKA category by building a high-performing team, identifying key sub-categories, and driving growth through merchant acquisition, incubation, and performance management. You will work cross-functionally to define and execute a competitive category strategy that drives sales, enhances customer experience, and strengthens market positioning.

Responsibilities:

  1. Category Strategy & Growth

  2. Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Beauty category, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.

  3. Identify high-potential brands, sellers, and product segments, and establish acquisition plans to onboard them effectively.

  4. Monitor and optimize category performance, ensuring growth in GMV, revenue, and market share.

  5. Seller Relationship Management

  6. Build and manage a pipeline of strategic sellers and brands, negotiating partnerships to enhance assortment and pricing competitiveness.

  7. Conduct regular business reviews with key sellers to identify growth opportunities and resolve challenges.

  8. Drive assortment expansion by identifying gaps in product offerings and securing relevant partnerships.

  9. Innovation & Competitive Advantage

  10. Identify and implement strategic initiatives to enhance category competitiveness, such as exclusive brand partnerships, product bundling, and promotional mechanics.

  11. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer insights to maintain category leadership.

  12. Continuously optimize seller engagement and operational efficiency to improve overall category health.

  13. Team Management & Leadership

  14. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring clear role definitions, performance KPIs, and career development paths.

  15. Foster a collaborative, agile, and results-driven team culture, encouraging innovation and accountability.

  16. Ensure the team is aligned with overall business priorities, driving efficiency and impact in daily operations.

  17. Lead team meetings, share insights, and create a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in eCommerce, category management, or business development

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or above

  • Proficiencies in English and Bahasa Indonesian languages

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) and can effectively handle cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong analytic, logical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail to maintain accuracy in high-pressure situations, and team management experience

  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness when handling sensitive financial and policy-related information.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt strategies to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor cross-functional teams.

  • Proactive and self-starter mindset focused on continuous improvement

  • Big picture thinking, structured, organized, and experienced in managing projects in different scales (planning, root cause identification, risk mitigation, synthesization, and process optimization)

  • Adaptable, fast learner, highly motivated, and versatile player with some exposure in ops and commercial

  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in managing global / regional key accounts is preferred
