About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Paint Shop Operator will be placed in Saudi Arabia. As an Operator Paint Shop Automotive, you will play a pivotal role in the automotive manufacturing process, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is a contract position based in the heart of the thriving automotive industry in Saudi Arabia.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate and maintain automotive paint shop equipment, including PT/ED Operation, spray booths, mixing rooms, and finishing lines (Touch up, Spray, and Sealer)
  2. Prepare and apply paint coatings to vehicle bodies and components, ensuring consistent and defect-free finishes
  3. Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the painting process to identify and address any issues
  4. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any paint-related problems
  5. Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols
  6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and process efficiency

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Paint Shop Operator or in a similar role
  2. Extensive knowledge of automotive painting techniques, materials, and equipment
  3. Proficient in operating and maintaining paint shop equipment, including spray guns, mixing machines, and drying ovens
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  5. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
  7. Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations in the automotive industry
