SAP MM Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Lead Consultant to support our client in the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading SAP MM implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAP MM module implementation projects, including blueprint, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
  • Ensure at least two successful full-cycle implementations of new company codes in SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze, design, and optimize procurement and inventory processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FI/CO, SD, PP, PM) to ensure seamless integration across modules.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members involved in MM configuration and support.
  • Troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions in procurement, inventory management, and material valuation areas.
  • Prepare documentation including functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies related to materials management and purchasing processes.

Requirement:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM, with at least 2 end-to-end full-cycle implementations as a Lead or Senior Consultant.
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MM submodules: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Valuation, Vendor Management, and Logistics Invoice Verification.
  • Familiar with integration between MM–FI, MM–SD, MM–PP, and other related modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of coordinating with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
