As a
Technical Service Supervisor
, you will develop innovative prototypes, using your technical skills to drive the technical customer support. This role requires you to interact with cross functional teams in the business, while developing growth within customers across Indonesia.

What You Will Do

• Customer Focus:

Support customers by building trust, meeting their needs by value differentiation. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (account managers, sales team, marketing, innovation team, regulatory, quality) to bring value to our customers.

• Technical support and Technical Service:

Demonstrate a willingness to learn the product portfolio, prepare and conduct technical presentation, pitching product innovations to customers as required.

Responsible in providing technical support to customers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, product recommendation, joint trial with customers, provide technical trainings & seminars, technical briefs and development of prototypes.

• Teamwork and Project Management

Able to work with multiple cross-functional project teams, support Technical Service Manager and sales team to create and develop project pipeline, ensure alignment of technical support activities for customer such as conducting internal studies, lab trials, and analysis.

• New Product Development

Contribute to develop new ideas/concepts and preparing prototypes for promotional purpose, following through and facilitating new product launch activities to a successful commercialization stage, design studies to screen and evaluate samples, working with regional resources to explore new initiative products, and understand Indonesian Food Regulation.

• Laboratory Management and Safety

Participate in safety programs, practice a safe lab work, implement and ensure food safety measures, supervise lab equipment maintenance.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in food science or any related field
• 3-6 years work experience in food industry (as R&D / application / technical support role)
• English fluency, both written and spoken
• Able to travel domestically when needed

Who You Are

• Having technical skill and knowledge in various food applications (dairy, processed cheese, baked goods, snacks or processed meat is advantageous)
• Ability to multitask, well organized, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-articulated, good reporting written and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with can do attitude and customer focused
