Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Design & Innovation Lead
to drive
electrical system design excellence and power innovation
across large-scale, mission-critical
data center projects
. This role combines
hands-on electrical design authority
with
innovation, optimization, and digital power strategies
to improve reliability, efficiency, and capacity utilization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience
    in electrical design for
    data centers or other mission-critical facilities
  • Strong hands-on experience in
    electrical design, construction, and commissioning
  • Deep expertise in
    UPS systems, batteries, power distribution, grounding, and power quality
  • Proven experience with
    design studies, load analysis, and energy efficiency optimization
  • Proficiency with
    software-based power analysis tools
    (e.g., ETAP); DCIM/BMS exposure is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of
    international standards
    (IEC; NFPA and data center standards are advantageous)
  • Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and review
    electrical system design
    for data centers, covering
    HV/MV/LV distribution, UPS, battery systems, grounding, and power quality
  • Own and govern
    Basis of Design (BOD)
    , design standards, and technical decision-making
  • Perform and validate
    load studies, redundancy models (N+1 / 2N), and capacity optimization
  • Drive
    electrical and energy efficiency initiatives
    , reducing stranded capacity and improving power utilization
  • Apply
    software-driven power analysis tools
    (e.g., ETAP, DCIM, monitoring platforms) to support data-driven design decisions
  • Support
    construction, commissioning, and system integration testing
    , ensuring design intent and reliability
  • Collaborate closely with
    cross-functional teams
    (fire protection, security, mechanical, operations)
  • Review and challenge
    vendor and consultant designs
    , balancing cost, reliability, and scalability
  • Communicate electrical risks, trade-offs, and design strategies clearly to
    internal stakeholders and clients
