Responsibilities :


• Data center electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines to create a construction document set.


• Responsible for design and planning of electrical power systems for mission critical Data centre projects.


• Responsible for design and specifications of power and control systems, system layouts, load calculations, equipment sizing and selection, performing calculations of lighting systems and

associated controls for assigned projects.


• Creation of designs that meet or exceed our quality requirements and fall within our budgetary

requirements.


• Work with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with federal, state, and

municipal requirements and building codes.


• Review and approval of equipment submittals


• Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during

construction phases.


• Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and

performance of electrical systems.


• Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.


• Travel to sites for site review, work with onsite field engineers and provide engineering

evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed.


• Lead project/client pursuits/proposals.


• Manage Vendor & Client relationships

Requirements :


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering,.


• At least 10 years of experience in data center infrastructure design and management.


• Professional Engineering License and knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, IBC, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.


• Detailed understanding of critical data center electrical equipment (including UPS, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, and automatic/static transfer switches) and basic understanding of mechanical equipment and system design.


• Exposure to engaging in multiple built projects within APAC region.


• Ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.


• Ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality, reliability, or maintainability.


• Experience with fast-track design/build projects, multiple significant upgrade projects, large-scale technical operations or large-scale compute farms.


• Demonstrated ability to implement energy-efficient solutions in large-scale operations.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.


• Ability to work effectively from a remote location


• Excellent communication and project management skills
