About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our dynamic team at PT BMC COSMETICS INDONESIA'. In this full-time role based in Demak, Jawa Tengah, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and driving the strategic financial direction of the company. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop, direct, and implement the company's financial and tax strategies to support overall business objectives.
2. Oversee all financial activities, including planning, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and cost control.
3. Ensure that all financial reports are prepared accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
4. Manage and ensure compliance with all corporate tax obligations (such as income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes) in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.
5. Review monthly and annual tax reports before submission to the tax authorities.
6. Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and tax implications to support management decision-making.
7. Supervise internal and external audits, and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
8. Implement effective financial control systems and risk management procedures.
9. Lead and mentor the finance and tax teams to ensure optimal performance and continuous professional development.
10. Maintain good relationships with external parties such as banks, auditors, and relevant government institutions.

What we're looking for

1. Able to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing
2. Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in finance and taxation, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and Indonesian tax regulations (PPh, PPN, and other relevant taxes).
4. Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and cost control.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage tax compliance, tax planning, and communication with tax authorities.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
8. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliance and corporate governance.
9. Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
10. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
11. Preferably experienced in manufacturing or similar industry environments.
