Task & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end crewing operations including crew recruitment, preparing crew agreements, and salary calculation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of crew documents.
  • Apply for and renew crew certificates including CoCs, CoEs, and Seaman Books for Panama and MPA Singapore flag states.
  • Prepare crew documentation and participate in MLC audits, ensuring full compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention.
  • Update and manage crew performance data using Metrix (OCIMF).
  • Coordinate crew rotation plans ensuring minimum manning and operational readiness.
  • Conduct outstation vessel visits to verify crew welfare, operational compliance, and onboard documentation.
  • Liaise with crewing agencies, training centers, and flag state administrations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or related field.
  • Min. 5 years experience in crewing operations, with managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Panama and MPA certification processes.
  • Familiar with IFT (Intent for Employment) documentation and CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreements) involving ITF or local unions.
  • Experience with OCIMF Metrix, SIRE inspections, and vetting performance is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with MLC, STCW, and flag state compliance.
