Position Summary

The Assistant Purchasing Manager supports the end-to-end procurement process for project-specific operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of goods and services. This role collaborates closely with project managers, suppliers, and finance teams to maintain compliance, optimize purchasing strategies, and uphold inventory standards aligned with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist in developing and executing purchasing plans based on project scopes and schedules.


• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain vendor relationships.


• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgetary constraints.


• Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate logistics to meet project milestones.


• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.


• Support inventory control and stock level monitoring for project-related materials.


• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.


• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in project-based environments.


• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.


• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.


• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting project priorities.

Preferred Attributes


• Experience in hospitality, construction, or logistics projects.


• Familiarity with import/export procedures and local sourcing regulations.


• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
