Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness, and monitor inventory levels to meet organizational goals. They will also evaluate suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-efficiency, prepare reports related to purchases, budgets, and supplier performance, and collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategies with company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills, including inventory management
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance in the industry
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Knowledge or experience in the maritime or manufacturing industry is an advantage
