The OpportunityJoin a venture studio launching a SaaS platform in October 2025 that helps aspiring entrepreneurs across Australia, New Zealand, USA, and Canada start subscription-based service businesses.We're building from zero. No audience, no content, no brand awareness - yet. That's where you come in.Your mission:Build our YouTube channel and content engine that educates aspiring business owners, establishes our brand voice, and drives awareness before launch.The RoleWe need a video editor who can write- not a marketer who dabbles in editing.You'll create faceless educational content. Think: high-value YouTube videos, written guides, and social content that teaches aspiring entrepreneurs how to build subscription-based businesses.Core responsibilities:Produce 1 - 2 YouTube videos per week (8-12 min faceless format: screen recordings, stock footage, animations, voiceover)Write 1 - 2 long-form articles per week (Medium, LinkedIn, blog)Create daily social content (Instagram, TikTok - repurposed from videos)Manage Alex Harper's consistent voice across all platformsTrack performance and iterate based on dataContent examples:"How to Start a Lawn Care Subscription Business""Pricing Strategies for Service-Based Subscriptions""Why Recurring Revenue Changes Everything for Service Businesses"Working ArrangementYou'll workprimarily remotewith full flexibility on your schedule, but should be able totravel to Jakarta when requiredto meet with the team for strategy sessions and planning.You'll collaborate closely with oursmall founding team, working directly with the founder on content strategy and direction. This means quick decisions, clear communication, and the ability to execute independently between check-ins.Who You AreMust have:Video editing firstThis is your core skill. Can produce engaging faceless videos efficiently (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, Final Cut)Strong English writingProfessional-level written English (doesn't need to be native, but must be clear and engaging). You'll edit scripts, articles, and all copy.AI tools proficiencyComfortable using AI for efficiency across the workflow: scriptwriting (ChatGPT/Claude), voiceovers (ElevenLabs/Murf), video editing assistance, generating/enhancing stock footage, thumbnail creation, and content ideationSpeed + consistencyYou ship quality work on schedule, every weekSelf-directedYou work independently, solve problems, and don't need daily oversightTools proficiencyVideo editing software, Canva, YouTube/social platformsJakarta-based or able to travel to Jakarta for occasional in-person meetingsBonus points:Portfolio of faceless content you've createdUnderstanding of business/entrepreneurship topicsExperience building channels from scratchExperience with AI video tools (Runway, Pika, HeyGen, etc.)The right mindset:Excited by building from zero (not discouraged by low initial views)Focused on volume + quality (ships > perfects)Long-term thinker (trusts the process over months)Self-motivated (doesn't need external validation to produce)Experience LevelThis role suitsmid-level, senior, or self-taught creators with serious skills.We're not interested in how many years you've been doing this - we care aboutwhat you're capable of producing today.Show us your best work and let that speak for itself.Whether you've been editing for 10 years or taught yourself in the last 2, if you can consistently create compelling faceless content that educates and engages, we want to hear from you.Interested?Please share examples of your work in advance.Include links to videos you've edited, articles you've written, or channels.We're looking for a video editor who can write - someone who executes consistently, thinks independently, and builds something meaningful from scratch.
