About the role

As the Finance Manager at PT Batu Ampar Container Terminal, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of this leading container terminal in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time position will see you manage the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the business operates efficiently and compliantly.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  2. Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and budget monitoring
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  4. Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  5. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  6. Manage the financial control framework, including internal audits and risk assessments
  7. Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 8 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in the transportation, logistics or port operations industry
  2. Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance management
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
  4. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a finance team
  5. Proficient in the use of financial software and systems, such as ERP and accounting packages
  6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
