About the role

CNGR Indonesia is seeking a full-time Nickel Mining KTT (Kepala Teknik Tambang) to join our team in North Konawe site, Southeast Sulawesi. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our nickel mining operations, ensuring efficient and safe production.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing mining plans and strategies to maximise productivity and resource extraction
  • Supervising mining activities and monitoring operational performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant mining regulations and safety standards
  • Analysing geological and operational data to inform decision-making and optimise mine operations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Providing technical guidance and training to the mining team to enhance their skills and capabilities
  • Reporting on key performance indicators and providing recommendations to senior management

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior technical role within the mining industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in mine planning, operations, and resource optimisation
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with mining regulations and safety standards in Indonesia
