Job Description:

  1. Hazardous Waste (B3) Management

  2. Ensure the Temporary Storage Facility (TPS) for Hazardous Waste (B3) is managed in accordance with applicable standards (symbols, labels, logbooks, and storage time limits).

  3. Conduct daily recording of incoming and outgoing hazardous waste (used oil, used filters, contaminated rags, used batteries, etc.).

  4. Arrange schedules and coordinate with other departments regarding hazardous waste transportation, and ensure all required documents (Waste Manifest) are complete.

  5. Monitor work areas and waste storage areas to ensure they are free from spills and leaks.

  6. Work Environment Monitoring

  7. Conduct routine measurements in work areas (Workshop, Mess, Office, Mine Site), including noise levels, lighting, and air quality/dust levels.

  8. Report measurement results that exceed the Threshold Limit Values (TLV) and provide recommendations for technical improvements.

  9. Ensure environmental monitoring equipment (Sound Level Meter, Lux Meter, etc.) is in good condition and properly calibrated.

  10. Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) Management

  11. Perform routine inspections of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) units to ensure the system operates optimally.

  12. Conduct periodic wastewater sampling for internal testing and testing by accredited external laboratories.

  13. Regulatory Compliance and Mining Safety

  14. Issue warnings to personnel or subcontractors who do not comply with waste management procedures.

  15. Assist in preparing data for semi-annual reporting to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) by the Owner.
  16. Be responsible to the KTT/PTL for the safety and health of all mine workers under their supervision.
  17. Prepare, sign inspection, and Carry out inspections, examinations, and testing activities.
  18. Be responsible to the KTT/PTL for the safety, health, and welfare of all personnel assigned under their responsibility.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum D3/S1 in Environmental Engineering, Forestry, Mining Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or Public Health.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in operating Microsoft Office and design applications (for campaign posters).
  • Possession of a Junior Industrial Hygiene Expert (HIMU) certification is preferred.
