Job Purpose

To support and execute key account strategies across beauty retail channels by managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring optimal brand presence, sales performance, and account compliance in assigned retail partners.

Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management & Execution

  • Manage assigned key accounts (e.g. Guardian, Watsons, Sociolla, department stores, specialty beauty retailers).
  • Execute commercial agreements, trading terms, and promo plans as agreed with Key Account Manager.
  • Ensure correct implementation of pricing, promotions, and planograms in-store and online (if applicable).
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance by account.

2. Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Track sales vs target (monthly, quarterly).
  • Analyze sales trends, stock movement, and store performance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports including OOS, slow movers, and best sellers.
  • Support forecasting and replenishment planning.

3. Promotion & Campaign Execution

  • Coordinate in-store promotions, visibility programs, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Ensure timely execution of promo mechanics (discounts, bundles, GWPs).
  • Work closely with marketing team on POSM, testers, and visual merchandising.
  • Monitor promo effectiveness and provide post-campaign analysis.

4. Trade Marketing & Store Excellence

  • Ensure brand visibility aligns with brand guidelines and retailer requirements.
  • Coordinate BA / SPG / merchandiser deployment where applicable.
  • Conduct store visits and audits to ensure compliance with planogram, pricing, and promotion.
  • Collect market and competitor insights from stores.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with supply chain, finance, marketing, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow up on PO processing, deliveries, returns, and claims.
  • Support account documentation, agreements, and payment tracking.

6. Relationship Management

  • Build strong working relationships with buyer, merchandiser, and store operations teams.
  • Handle day-to-day account issues and escalate strategic matters to Key Account Manager.
  • Support negotiation preparation with data and execution insights.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales achievement vs target
  • On-shelf availability (OOS rate)
  • Promo execution accuracy & timeliness
  • Store compliance score (planogram, pricing, visibility)
  • Sell-out growth per account
  • Report accuracy & timeliness

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum
    2–4 years experience
    in key account / modern trade / beauty retail.
  • Strong understanding of beauty retail channels and trading terms.
  • Experience working with pharmacy, department store, or specialty beauty retailers.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills (Excel required).
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Willing to do regular store visits.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in skincare, cosmetics, or personal care brands.
  • Familiar with listing fees, promo support, rebates, and trade terms.
  • Able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and execution-oriented mindset.
