- Manage and supervise day-to-day accounts payable activities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense claims
- Review and approve payment requests in accordance with internal controls
- Monitor accounts payable aging and resolve outstanding issues
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment matters
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in audit processes by preparing required documentation
- Lead and develop the accounts payable team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related functions
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and internal controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Detail-oriented, strong leadership, and good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
