Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage
    Financial Accounting & Taxation (FAT)
    operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of
    monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Oversee
    tax planning, tax reporting, and compliance
    , including corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other relevant taxes.
  • Coordinate with
    external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
    to ensure compliance and successful audits.
  • Develop and implement
    financial controls, policies, and procedures
    to strengthen governance and minimize financial risks.
  • Support
    business strategy and commercial decisions
    by providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, supply chain, and senior management to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
  • Communicate complex financial and tax matters clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, Economics
    , or related field (Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA/CA/ACCA is an advantage).
  • Minimum
    8–12 years of experience
    in finance, accounting, and taxation, preferably within the
    chemical or chemical trading industry
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    financial accounting, taxation regulations, and compliance requirements
    .
  • Experience in
    chemical trading, manufacturing, or distribution businesses
    is highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience managing finance teams at a managerial or senior managerial level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    , with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems is a plus.
