Direct Sales Manager

The Direct Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the direct sales strategy aimed at expanding the company's financial products into the retail sector. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, developing strong relationships with retailers, and driving the adoption of the companys financial solutions to help achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive direct sales strategy to expand the companys financial product offerings within the retail market.
- Identify key retail segments and create a go-to-market strategy to acquire retailers as new partners and clients.
- Set sales targets, budgets, and performance metrics for the direct sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail business owners and decision-makers.
- Conduct regular visits to retailers to present, promote, and negotiate the companys financial products.
- Analyze retailers' financial needs and offer customized financial solutions to meet their business requirements.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing direct sales team to ensure consistent sales performance and retailer engagement.
- Monitor the performance of the direct sales team, providing coaching and feedback to optimize individual and team results.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to assess progress toward goals and address any challenges faced by the team.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth in the retail sector.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to position the companys financial products competitively.
- Use insights from market analysis to adjust sales strategies and optimize performance.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, preparing detailed reports on sales activities, progress toward targets, and market feedback.
- Present sales reports and insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales materials and campaigns that support the direct sales efforts.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback from retailers and suggest product improvements or new financial offerings.
- Oversee the onboarding process for retailers, ensuring a smooth integration of financial products and services.
- Address any issues or concerns that retailers may have during and after the sales process, providing excellent post-sale support.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- years of experience in direct sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and building relationships in the retail or financial industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
