  • Develop exploration plans, including drilling, sampling, and geological mapping.
  • Design geotechnical monitoring programs for pits, waste disposal areas, and facility structures.
  • Oversee coal sampling and laboratory analysis procedures.
  • Supervise the implementation of geotechnical recommendations in the field.
  • Monitor updates to geological models in line with ongoing mining developments.
  • Evaluate coal resource and reserve estimates.
  • Perform slope stability analyses and conduct back‐analyses in cases of geotechnical failure.
  • Develop early warning systems for potential geohazards (e.g., landslides, pit water hazards).

  • Coordinate with contractors to optimize the use of geotechnical survey technologies such as inclinometers, drones, and radar.

  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.

  • At least 5 years of experience in mining geology or geotechnical roles.
  • Proficient in geological software (e.g., Surpac, Minescape) and geotechnical tools (e.g., Slide, Plaxis).
  • Capable of conducting geohazard risk analyses.
  • Have a POP certificate or recognition as a Competent Geologist/Geotechnical Professional.
  • Willing to be assigned to Loreh, Malinau, North Kalimantan.
