Roles & Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager for Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) is assisting the Head of FAT to manage company's financial, accounting, and tax operations. This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations. The role also involves preparing financial statements, coordinating tax filings, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. They play a key role in managing cash flow, improving financial efficiency, and ensuring the organization meets its financial and tax obligations in a timely and effective manner. Control and collect overdue receivables from agents. Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and accounting standards is essential in this position

The successful candidate for this position would require to:

  1. Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. Have 3-5 years work experience as Assistant Manager or Supervisor in finance, accounting, and tax roles, ideally in a sales distribution or similar industry.
  3. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and working with financial software systems.
  4. Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws (including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant tax regulations).
  5. Familiarity with Indonesian financial reporting standards (PSAK) and knowledge in international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
  6. Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  7. Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  8. Good understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  9. Attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as this role involves liaising with both internal departments and external stakeholders (e.g., local distributors, auditors, tax authorities).
  11. Highly adaptable in company culture and regulations, ability to collaborate and good team work, respecting others, and keeping an open mind and eager to learn new things
