Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Jakarta for a Procurement Buyer. The Procurement Buyer will handle day-to-day procurement operations including managing purchasing processes, creating purchase orders, conducting supplier evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The role involves sourcing high-quality materials and services, negotiating prices with vendors, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining good supplier relationships. This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of goods and services.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and proficiency in managing Purchase Orders
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate supplier performance and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate with vendors in China.
  • Able to speak Mandarin (Speaking and Written)
  • Previous experience in a procurement-related role within the offshore, oil, or marine industry is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
